˝ Rovinj's Night ˝ - sport events
As part of ' Rovinj Nights ' many traditional manifestations and competitions took place like every year. In the morning,regatta of the sailing boats in the class 'Optimist' and regatta of cruisers were held in the town marina.

In the afternoon, all visitors could enter and participate
in different races in the main square, and the most popular was the one in carrying
empty fish- baskets.
A competition with long tradition, a rowing-race of 'batanas', drew the attention of many visitors as every year.
