rd FIM Motocamp in Rovinj
From May 19 to May 22 Rovinj was the host of the 23 rd FIM Motocamp which brought to Rovinj 501 bikers (motor cyclists) from 16 European countries. This traditional gathering of octane lovers was organized by the Croatian Motorcycling Association with The Tourist Association and the Town of Rovinj as sponsors.

The bikers said goodbye to the host-town in a festive parade that took place at the Marshall Tito Square . The president of the Town Council, Davorin Flego, expressed gratitude for their coming and visiting the town of St. Euphemia .

The parade was also an occasion for presenting awards to the bikers. In the category of women bikers the organizers presented Karen Mawhinney with a plaque and a gift of the Town of Rovinj . She travelled 2,473 km on her ‘two-wheeled pet’. In the category of men bikers Heige Birkenland had to ride the longest distance of 2,497 km to reach Rovinj.
