Assumption day on Red Island
Ronald Braus and Guests Concert
On Assumption Day (Velika Gospa), the Tourist Association of Rovinj organized the Ronald Braus and GuestsConcert on the nearby Red Island, as it had for the past four years.
The concert was opened by the Papageno Aria from the Magic Flute performed by baritone Braus who was later joined by two young artists – soprano Daniela Perosa from Pula, and singer, dancer and actress Mila Elegovi ć Bali ć . Their performances were accompanied by Simon De š palj on the piano.
This entertaining night was made complete by the well-known writer Sanja Pili ć , who read on this warm August night her newest story titled “Mala torba – Velika sloboda”. Still, the night was mostly marked by the chansons and old hits performed by the married couple Hrvoje Hegedušić and Ksenija Erker.
Performing on this occasion some of his most famous songs – evergreens, Hrvoje Hegedušić reminded the audience of his 45 successful years in music career, and Ksenija Erker of her 30 years of singing career. Dario Čini ć, Director of the Tourist Association of Rovinj, presented the famous artistic couple Hegeduši ć -Erker with a photo-monograph called Rovinj na starim razglednicama (“Rovinj on Old Postcards”).
