Hunters Cleaned Sv. Ivan Island
Around thirty members of Rovinj Hunting Association responded last Saturday to an environmental campaign of cultivating and cleaning the nearby island of Sveti Ivan.
The campaign was traditionally organized by the town Tourist Association within spring environmental campaigns, and we found out this one was the thirteenth in a row. This time, the hunters cleaned up the bays again, removing the garbage brought in by the sea, and used billhooks and rakes to clear the access paths to the center of the island, where the church of Sveti Ivan is situated.
