in Valfaborasa Bay
Divers’ Meager Catch
Judging from the very meager catch, only two bags of garbage, mainly glass bottles and cans, the sea underworld of the Valfaborasa Bay is clean. Fifteen divers, guests accommodated in the Tourist Complex Villas Rubin, participated gladly in this ecological action on Saturday morning.
The action took place as part of the celebration of the Day of Cleaning the Mediterranean that was organized by concerted efforts of the Tourist Association, the Town of Rovinj, the Utility Service, Green Istria Association and Eko Histria.
The divers cleaned the sea underworld. However, the land part of the bay, which was supposed to be cleaned by the high-schools students of Rovinj, was not cleaned because of the poor weather conditions - rain
