Over seventy participants from Istria exhibited their regional authentic
cuisine in the Taste of the Sea Fair, once again to prove that their
food, baked goods and confectionery (sweets) can meet the standards of
the world’s greatest culinary styles.
Over eighty meals were exhibited during the Fair, including various cold and hot appetizers, indigenous delicacies, truffles and asparagus, seafood, potato and wheat pasta, traditionally baked lamb, chocolate, fruit cakes and numerous others sweet specialties.
