Rubino Gives Great Concert at Poljana na Brijegu
In mid-July, the chamber choir Rubino has organized a free all-evening concert for its loyal audience for the fourth year running. This time their repertoire included their interpretations of world legends, The Beatles, and the finest local lyrics writer, whose rendition of ‘’Projdi vilo’’ started the concert at Poljana na brijegu. In addition to these, they sang evergreens like Everybody Loves Somebody, Amazing Grace, The Lion Sleeps Tonight and others, truly inspired under the baton of Aleksandra Orbanić.
This time, guests from Staranzano joined their traditional performance in the heart of the old town core. They were a female choir called ‘’Audite nova’’, with whom Rubino has cooperated for several years. On this occasion, they performed a medley of sacral and secular songs, conducted by Gianna Visintin.
