For the first time the youngest citizens of Rovinj – children from the kindergarten and nursery “Neven” – have participated in the environmental action of the Tourist community. They looked forward eagerly for the truck with begonias in order to grow the red and white flowering plants in their garden. However, the welcome of summer plants, donated by the Tourist community employees, could not go without mutual gifts giving. The children welcomed the Tourist community employees with a song, and for a hundred of the donated flowers, which will make the nursery’s garden even more beautiful, they presented the Tourist community’s director, Mr. Darijo Činić, with a painting titled “A flower from children’s imagination”.

Immediately after a mini concert and the painting’s presentation, the small children, armed with rakes and shovels and with the assistance of nursery-school teachers and headmistress Sandra Orbanić, planted their first real flower garden from children’s imagination in front of the kindergarten “Neven”.
