A 2006-Egg Fritaja On the last day of the Flower Story, a fritaja (fry-up) consisting of 2006 eggs, 12 kilos of asparagus, spring onions and seven kilos of pancetta was made in a gigantic pan.
The record-breaking fritaja was prepared by the cooks from Maistra and the Eugen Kumičić Trade School, who used an oar instead of spoon to mix the necessary ingredients. After an hour, they completed the tasty fritaja and made eight hundred servings from it at a reasonable price of 12 HRK each, which were sold in just a half an hour.
So it’ no wonder the organizers of the Flower Story announced the possibility of a 25-meter long apple strudel during the upcoming part of the fair that is to take place from 25 to 28 May
