Sweet Fantasies Gone in a Second

Around forty fruitcakes prepared within the Rovinj Flower Story by fifteen top pastry chefs from Podravka, Maistra and Eugen Kumičić Trade School, and employees of Hotel Turist in Varaždin, disappeared in a second. The beautiful appearance of the cakes made of 600 eggs, 15 kilos of fresh fruit, seven kilos of whipped cream and Podravka light creams made them sell out to the last little piece in a just a few hours.

The visitors bought and tasted each one, from those mainly consisting of apricot, kiwi, bananas, strawberries or raspberries, to those decorated with red roses, multicolored pansies and mint leaves. The cakes with chocolate toppings and colorful creams were also very much in demand, so it's no wonder they bought them whole because of their beauty and sweet taste.
