Lungomare Wine Boutique Opens
The new Lungomare wine boutique opened below Hotel Park, on Šetalište Vijeća Europe.
This is the first wine boutique owned by the hotel & catering company Maistra, which runs 87 catering facilities in the Rovinj and Vrsar area, seating around five thousand people.
The wine boutique offers around thirty domestic white wines and around fifteen red wines. You can also order wines from the neighboring Slovenia and Italy at reasonable prices, as well as the best of French wines. Dessert and fruit wines, sparkling wines and brandies are also available.
The welcome address by Maistra’s director Renco Miletić was followed the ribbon cutting ceremony – the honor was given to Veljko Ostojić, this time acting in the capacity of the Croatian Sommeliers’ Club president.
Ivica Matošević, the most popular Istrian winemaker and president of the Vinistra Association, spoke of the significance of the wine boutique as an important part of the tourist offer, welcoming the long awaited alliance between the winemakers and the renowned hotel company.
