ROVINJ GOT THE NIGHT BATHING PLACE
Bathing under reflectors
Aiming to enrich this year tourist offer, the Town and Tourist Community for the first time organised a night bathing on the town's beach Balota, below the Monte. Many did not resist the temptation of jumping into the warm sea of July. Their pleasure of diving into the clear water was even bigger because of many eyes watching them from the walking-route Gnot as well as flashes of many cameras.
Besides bathing under the reflectors put above the ground and under the water, which make especially beautiful and attractive ambience, even the atmosphere of the fairy-tail, the whole night event was accompanied with sounds of guitar and mandolin played by duet Kiky-Ricki. In addition, the event organiser provided free drinks for all visitors.
At the same time, on the other location of the small embankment, the visitors' attention were attracted by excellent lady swimmers, members of Zagreb's Club of Swimming and Croatian Academic Club of Synchronized Swimming „Mladost“, who performed their magical dance on the water surface as will as beneath.
Prior to their performance, members of Diver Sport Center held on the ground a short course of diving. During two evenings the sea bottom along the water-front was illuminated with light balls in which many visitors enjoyed as well as in the whole project called „Under the Sea - Rovinj 2007“.
To all those who would like to experience the delight of night bathing it would be enough to say – every Thursday evening, with music, drinks and the contest of the best jump into the water.
