The Fireworks Show Surpassed its Former Beauty
The spectacular fireworks show in the sky above Rovinj was more beautiful than ever, especially in its final moments when the golden threads lit up the night sky above the heads of thousands of tourists and local people.
The sighs of delight accompanied every firework rocket sent to the sky from the Big Pier and Rovinjka to turn the night into a glorious day with a 20-minute fireworks show. Although it seemed impossible, the show managed to delight the audience once again, lifting their eyes high up towards the sky.
The spots offering the best view were searched for hours before the show. As usual, the sky was not observed only from the square and the waterfront but also from the terraces of all open bars and restaurants, from the Park Hotel, the Monte Beach, the Shipyard Square, as well as from boats, cars, tree tops etc. The magical dance of flickering sparks was this time accompanied by the sounds of Pink Floyd’s Shine on You Crazy Diamond.
Numerous old people of Rovinj, who remember all the fireworks shows organized so far, said that this one was one of the most beautiful shows in a more than 20-year-old tradition, concluding that it is rightfully called the most beautiful one in the Adriatic.
Let us remind you, the tourism workers created this magnificent event, which is organized at the end of the season, to thank their visitors in a very conspicuous way for choosing Rovinj as their destination and send the summer off.
