RAI TV TEAM VISITED ISTRIA AND KVARNER
Rovinj in a tele-travel reportage “Alle falde del Kilimangiaro”
At the end of the year, TV RAI will broadcast a reportage from Istria and Kvarner in one of it’s the most popular tele-travels show “Alle falde del Kilimangiaro”. Precious minutes were filmed even in Rovinj, which has according to the words of TZ directress Odeta Sapač, an immense value for tourist promotion of the St. Euphemia’s town.
Employees of TZ showed to TV RAI 3 team, Alessandro Di Nitzti and Ivo Semenar, the most attractive locations and cultural-historic monuments. A considerable part of the time was devoted to the eco-museum “The House about Batana” as well as the story about batana, the autochthonous boat of Rovinj’s fishermen. In addition, attractive scenes were filmed – a concert of folk group “Batana” performed on the rock called Balota. Before the concert, the team had visited nearby island St. Andrew and the castle of the baron Hueterott.
Prior to Rovinj, tourist minutes were filmed in Poreč, Novigrad and Grožnjan, and the reportage from Istria will take place also in Pula and Brijuni, and in its special part will cover the beauty of Kvarner. It should be noted that the TV RAI team for filming this reportage about Istria for the “Alle falde del Kilimangiaro” travel show was invited by County Tourist Community.
