ROVINJ TOURIST BOARD DONATED TWO THOUSAND PLANTS
Seasonal flowers, perennials and aromatic herbs
Of course, the action organized by the Tourist Board in cooperation with the Public Utility provoked enormous interest among citizens.
People waited patiently and all plants were asked for... seasonal flowers, perennials and aromatic herbs.
In addition to flowers, this year the Tourist Board gave away about five hundred fig trees, pomegranates and jujubes.
- ‘I am lost for words. The traditional flower and plant donation action organized by the Tourist Board deserves only the best compliments. Rovinj's verandas and gardens are filled with beautiful scenting flowers creating a beautiful image for the tourists. This action deserves every compliment and I hope that the tradition will continue next year as well’, was Božica Demirović’s comment on this year’s extremely successful donation of more than two thousand delicate plants.
